We’re a buzzing community running projects for crafting, upcycling and repairing, with a shop, and a repair cafe. We run Workshops to teach new skills, connect with others and learn how to live more sustainably.

Sashiko mending is a traditional Japanese hand-stitching technique used to repair or reinforce damaged clothing and textiles to make them beautiful again.

Learn about the wonderful colours and patterns that can be found in nature, and how to harness them for eco-friendly dyeing.
In this workshop, you will be taught the fundamentals of natural dyeing including fibre preparation, dye types and methods, and colour modification.

Instead of throwing out beloved items of clothing due to damage, fraying, or even stains, try visible mending.
Using simple but stylish sewing techniques, learn how to fix your favourite shirts, jeans, jackets, and more via decorative patching, stitching, and darning.

Absolute Beginners Crochet

For those who have always wanted to learn how to Crochet, this is the class for you. Learn how to Crochet way before scarf weather is here!
Taught in our wonderful shop by one of our fabulous tutors. You'll learn the basics in a fun atmosphere with other Absolute Beginners.

Refresh is an upcycling centre in Church Street, right in the heart of High Wycombe. We’re also known as an Aladdin’s cave, packed with an amazing variety of materials and treasures just waiting to inspire your creativity.
Our aim is to encourage everyone to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Create. Everything we have has been saved from going to waste, and much of it is brand new.
Whether you’re a crafter, teacher, artist, designer or maker, there’s something here for everyone. Discover fantastic fabrics, textiles, haberdashery, cards, papers, foils and shelves full of materials just waiting to be transformed and given a second life.
