Overview: Come and join us planting bulbs that will flower next spring, to cheer us all up, and also to help bees and other pollinators.
We will be planting daffodils that are ‘pollinator friendly’, as well as some crocus.
There are many different types of bees, not just honey bees that live in bee hives, that rely on flowering plants for food. And there are other pollinators too, including butterflies.
By planting these bulbs we will help provide a little patch where pollinators can feed, and that will brighten up our world.
Planting bulbs is very straight forward, and once in the ground, they will come back year after year after year - like magic!
No experience necessary, and no need to bring your own kit - although if you do have your own garden gloves, spade or trowel, please bring them along!
