Parties aren’t just for the summer!

We continue to build our library of things - which started as a summer party pack, and is now an-anytime-party pack!

We have some superbly large jugs, a box of glasses and a box of mugs. We have some folding tables and some bunting. To us that sounds like PARTY!

You can hire these individually - our hire charge is just £5, with a £20 refundable deposit. Or you can hire them as a pack, for just £15 hire charge, and £50 refundable deposit.

This is our starting point for ‘Share Wycombe’ - or what is known as a ‘library of things’. If that’s a term that is unfamiliar to you, its a place where you hire things you need occasionally, rather than buying them, using them once, and then storing them for when you might need them again, if you do… Lots of places are now establishing libraries of things.

They are a great idea because you can save money, because you don’t need to buy the piece of kit, and you save space at home because you don’t have to store it either. And because one piece of kit is used by lots of people, it reduces the resources that are needed to make it, which means a lighter impact on the planet. And if that’s not enough, when you come to hire and bring it back, you get to chat to a lovely volunteer, and make connections in the community.

At the moment we are sticking to non-electrical items, but we would love it to grow into a full blown library of things with a range of electrical and home-ware items.
