Overview: How do our towns and villages develop a greater sense of ownership and ability to respond to the various crises we are now facing?

Come and hear the story of Wendover and the surrounding parishes of Weston Turville, Halton and Stoke Mandeville, and their path towards developing a shared Community Climate Action Plan. From initial inspiration, through community engagement events and facilitated group sessions, the four communities are now on their way to a funded action plan.

Rachel Blackmore, chair of Weston Turville Parish Council, coordinator for Climate Action Weston Turville and trustee at Climate Action Wendover, has played a key role throughout this journey. Rachel will share her learning and experiences, and inspire each of us to consider what’s possible in the place we call home.
