Community & Climate Cafe - Visit to the Community Allotment

Overview: Join us at the next Community & Climate Cafe to visit the Grow Together Bucks Community Allotment.

Interested in food and growing, but not sure where to start? Join us for an informal guided tour, a food tasting using allotment produce and refreshments, together with a chance to chat about growing food, composting and how to join or set up a community allotment.

The site is next to the River Wye, so there will also be a chance to enjoy a hidden spot on our local chalk stream and see what wildlife is passing by.

This sessions is for anyone interested in our relationship to growing food, community, and creativity to cultivate a more resilient future. Join Victoria (Vix) for this interactive session - a passionate food grower who wanted to grow her own pasta sauce, and a creative practitioner interested in inspiring others through stories and lived experience with a Chilterns-based exhibition in the works.

A steering group of local people will guide the project, and we'll have workshops led by awesome partners like Grow Together Bucks, Khepera, and the Wycombe & District Beekeepers Association. Plus, we'll keep supporting ongoing activities like litter picking and conservation efforts.
