Want to help tackle climate change but don’t have the time to become a climate scientist? Join the Climate Fresk movement.
In just 3 hours, the collaborative Climate Fresk workshop will teach you the fundamental science behind climate change and give you confidence in having conversations with others.

You can’t fix what you don’t understand. Luckily, the Climate Fresk turns climate science into a game!
The Climate Fresk will help you understand the implications of the IPCC report. Using 42 cards, collaborate with other participants to work out cause and effect, leading to a renewed sense of purpose and a plan of action — for yourself and your community.
Over 2 million people worldwide have now participated in this facilitated interactive workshop, which can be held online or in person.

We are lucky to have Madelyn Postman, Joint Managing Director of Grain Sustainability running this workshop. Madelyn is a native of the US, but has lived in the UK for 25 years, with links to Amersham, so keeping it local.
Madelyn believes that businesses need to play a key role in creating an equitable and safe world and must take responsibility for their activities. Her background is in branding and communications, working with a variety of purpose-led brands over the years. She shifted her focus wholly to sustainability after studying Business Sustainability Management at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership in 2020.
The Climate Fresk is one of Madelyn’s favourite sustainability tools. She regularly speaks with and facilitates workshops for corporate teams. You may have spied Madelyn on BBC News and BBC World, commenting on branding, business, and communications, and she lectures on sustainable fashion at the University of East London, so a perfect pairing for Refresh!
This workshop is part of the Pride of Place programme and is being subsidised by the High Wycombe Community Board - we are asking residents of High Wycombe for donations and suggesting a price of £25 - you would normally expect to pay £50-£75 to attend an online Fresk, and, thanks to the generosity of the Community Board, this Fresk is being brought to us, in person, in High Wycombe! If you live outside of Wycombe we would ask you for £50.
